ABOUT THE ROLE
As a result of our success, we’re looking for a brilliant, passionate, and accomplished Strategic Lead Planner to join the business and play a key role in delivering exceptional service and results to our clients. You’ll be responsible for applying your advanced strategic knowledge and inquisitive nature to guide the overarching strategy for our clients.
You will work to help the teams present solutions that are relevant, distinctive and of high quality, adding significant value to projects and client results, along with developing strong client relationships and demand for marketing services.

KEY ELEMENTS OF THE ROLE
- Gather and analyse audience, channel, category and brand insights
- Alongside the client team help interrogate client briefs, write creative and content briefs, then work on creative development throughout the process
- Client-facing and have the ability to understand their needs and challenges
- Run client workshops and primary research where needed
- Proactively ensure a thorough understanding of the brand, product, and overarching strategy for the projects you are assigned to
- Work with the wider team and lead in strategic activity to ensure that the team’s outputs are in line with client expectations
- Take responsibility for shaping and delivery of the research and insights
- Perform competitor analysis reviewing activity, along with behaviour and data to identify strengths and weaknesses, making informed recommendations based on your findings that support the strategy
- Help to grow and utilise the strategic toolkit and have a strong knowledge of the research tools we use in order to support in any research you conduct and make recommendations on additional tools
- Challenge clients go-to-market strategy, supported by market research & understanding
- Conduct project diagnostics, leveraging market insights to inform recommendations for results improvement
- Provide evidence-based recommendations around market, message and channel efficacy
- Collaborate with the Sales and Data & Insights functions
A BIT ABOUT YOU
- 3-5 years of experience in marketing planning, execution, and analysis
- Experience with market research tools and methods
- Excellent communication, presentation, and project management skills
- Strong analytical skills and experience generating insights from data
- Be a go-to-market analyst & strategic advisor

- Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Have a keen eye for spotting opportunities to bolster profitability
