This Acceptable Use Policy sets out the rules that apply when you use clarifyb2b.com (the “site”), submit material to it, or interact with any feature on it.

- Recruiters, candidates, and third parties who use the site to engage with our recruitment or talent practice
- Anyone who links to or references the site
3. Prohibited uses
You must not use the site:
- In any way that breaches any applicable local, national, or international law or regulation
- In any way that is unlawful, fraudulent, or has any unlawful or fraudulent purpose or effect
- To send, knowingly receive, upload, download, use, or re-use any material that does not comply with our content standards (see section 5)
- To transmit any unsolicited or unauthorized advertising, promotional material, “spam”, chain letters, pyramid schemes, or any other form of similar solicitation
- To impersonate any person or organization, or to misrepresent your identity or your affiliation with any person or organization

- To breach the privacy or data protection rights of any individual
- To harass, intimidate, or threaten our employees, contractors, or any third party
- To request or attempt to obtain confidential commercial information that you are not entitled to receive
4. Restrictions on technical use
You must not:
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the site, the server on which the site is stored, or any server, computer, or database connected to the site
- Attack the site via a denial-of-service attack or a distributed denial-of-service attack
- Knowingly introduce viruses, Trojans, worms, logic bombs, ransomware, keystroke loggers, spyware, or any other material that is malicious or technologically harmful
- Use any robot, spider, scraper, crawler, or other automated means to access, copy, monitor, or extract any part of the site or any data from it without our prior written consent
- Bypass, disable, or otherwise interfere with security features of the site, or features that prevent or restrict use or copying of content
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the site, or any software made available through it
- Frame the site, or mirror any part of it on another website, without our prior written consent
- Use the site or any data obtained from it to train, develop, or evaluate any machine learning model, large language model, or generative AI system without our prior written consent
- Use the site or any data obtained from it to build a competing product or service
Breaching this section may constitute a criminal offense under the Computer Misuse Act 1990. We will report any such breach to the relevant law enforcement authorities and will cooperate by disclosing your identity to them.
5. Content standards
These standards apply to any material you contribute to the site or send to us through it (“contributions”), including:
- Inquiry and contact form submissions
- CV, cover letter, and recruitment application content
- Comments or feedback submitted through any feature on the site
- Any other text, image, audio, video, or file uploaded to or through the site
Contributions must be:
- Accurate, where they state facts
- Genuinely held, where they state opinions
- Compliant with the law in the UK and in any country from which they are posted
Contributions must not:
- Be defamatory, obscene, offensive, hateful, or inflammatory
- Promote sexually explicit material, violence, terrorism, or discrimination based on race, sex, religion, nationality, disability, sexual orientation, age, or any other protected characteristic
- Infringe any copyright, database right, trade mark, or other intellectual property right of any other person
- Contain confidential information belonging to any third party that you are not authorized to share
- Be likely to deceive any person
- Breach any legal duty owed to a third party, such as a contractual duty or a duty of confidence
- Promote any illegal activity
- Be threatening, abusive, or invade another person’s privacy
- Be likely to harass, upset, embarrass, alarm, or annoy any other person
- Give the impression that they come from us, or are endorsed by us, if this is not the case
- Advocate, promote, or assist any unlawful act, including copyright infringement or computer misuse
- Contain any advertising, promotion, or solicitation for a competing service
6. Interactive services
We may, from time to time, provide interactive services on the site, including forms, downloads, chat features, or comment functions. Where we do, we will provide clear information about the kind of service offered, whether it is moderated, and what form of moderation is used.
We are under no obligation to oversee, monitor, or moderate any interactive service we provide on the site. We expressly exclude liability for any loss or damage arising from a user’s use of any interactive service in contravention of our content standards, whether or not the service is moderated.
The use of any of our interactive services by a minor requires the consent of their parent or guardian. We advise parents who permit their children to use an interactive service that it is important they communicate with their children about online safety, as moderation is not foolproof.
7. Recruitment submissions
If you apply for a role through the site, or submit your details to our Recruitment and Talent Practice, you confirm that:
- All information you provide is accurate, current, and complete
- The contact details, CV, references, and supporting information you submit relate to you, or you have the authority of the person they relate to
- You have the right to disclose the information to us
- You are not subject to any contractual or legal restriction that prevents you from sharing the information
We handle recruitment data in line with our Privacy Policy.
8. Confidential information
You must not submit any of the following through the site unless we have specifically asked you to do so via a secure channel:
- Passwords, access credentials, or security tokens
- Bank account details, full payment card numbers, or other financial credentials
- National insurance numbers, social security numbers, or equivalent government identifiers
- Health, biometric, or other special category personal data, except where directly relevant to a job application and submitted with your consent
The contact and inquiry forms on the site are intended for general business communication only.
9. Suspending and blocking access
We will determine, at our discretion, whether your use of the site has breached this policy. When a breach has occurred, we may take whatever action we consider appropriate.
Failure to comply with this policy is a material breach of the Terms of Service on which you are permitted to use the site, and may result in our taking all or any of the following actions:
- Immediate, temporary, or permanent withdrawal of your right to use the site
- Immediate, temporary, or permanent removal of any contribution uploaded by you to the site
- Issue of a warning to you
- Legal proceedings against you for reimbursement of all costs on an indemnity basis (including reasonable administrative and legal costs) resulting from the breach
- Further legal action against you
- Disclosure of such information to law enforcement authorities, as we reasonably feel is necessary or required by law
We exclude our liability for all actions we may take in response to breaches of this policy. The actions described above are not limited, and we may take any other action we reasonably consider appropriate.
10. Reporting abuse or unlawful content
If you believe that any contribution on the site, or any conduct by another user, breaches this policy, please contact info@clarifyb2b.com with the subject line “AUP report”.
Please include:
- The URL or location of the content concerned (where applicable)
- A description of the issue and why you believe it breaches this policy
- Your contact details, so we can follow up if needed
If your report concerns alleged intellectual property infringement, please include sufficient detail for us to identify the work concerned and your authority to act on behalf of the rights holder.
We will review reports promptly and take whatever action we consider appropriate. We are not obliged to respond to anonymous reports, but we will treat the identity of complainants confidentially where reasonably possible.
11. Changes to this policy
We may revise this policy at any time by amending this page. Check this page from time to time to keep up with any changes we make, as they are binding on you. Some of the provisions in this policy may also be superseded by provisions or notices published elsewhere on the site.
12. Which country’s laws apply
This policy, its subject matter, and its formation are governed by English law. You and we both agree that the courts of England and Wales will have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any rights you have under mandatory consumer protection law in your jurisdiction that cannot be waived.
